Busworld All Set to Go Big in Brussels

Busworld Europe is gearing up for what's set to be its largest show yet. From the 4th to the 9th of October 2025, Brussels Expo will become the centre of the bus and coach world, bringing together professionals and enthusiasts alike for the industry's most significant B2B exhibition.

Building on the success of the 2023 event, which saw over 40,000 visitors, the 2025 show is expanding its footprint to a massive 82,000 square metres of exhibition space, a clear sign of the continued growth and innovation within the passenger transport sector. With nearly 550 exhibitors already confirmed and the show fully booked, Busworld is solidifying its reputation as the premier marketplace for everyone from vehicle manufacturers to tech innovators and service providers.

This year's show promises to be a comprehensive showcase of the latest trends, from zero-emission drivetrains and autonomous technology to new interiors and aftersales solutions.

World Premieres Take Centre Stage

For bus and coach enthusiasts, the vehicle halls are always the main draw and 2025 won't disappoint. With 85 manufacturers confirmed, visitors can expect a remarkable display of vehicles across all segments: city buses, coaches, minibuses and more. Following a wave of new launches in 2023, several world premieres have already been announced, with more expected as the event approaches.

Among the highlights will be CaetanoBus, which plans to unveil its very first battery-electric coach, developed in collaboration with a major partner who will be named at the show. Daimler Buses is set to give the new eIntouro electric intercity bus its public debut, along with showcasing the latest-generation NMC4 battery in the Mercedes-Benz eCitaro. Visitors can find eight Mercedes-Benz and Setra vehicles on Stand 503 in Hall 5. Meanwhile, IVECO BUS will showcase its eDaily Low Entry Minibus for urban transport and the G-WAY, a biomethane-compatible midibus designed for navigating narrow streets.

More Than Just Buses

Beyond the vehicles themselves, Busworld Europe is placing a greater emphasis on the full supply chain that keeps the industry moving. This includes everything from powertrains and HVAC systems to electronics and maintenance solutions. This sector will also feature a number of product premieres.

For instance, Eberspächer will be debuting its latest thermal management innovations, including new air-conditioning units that use a natural refrigerant.

Busworld is also launching a new digital platform, Busworld Plaza, during the event. While it won't replace the in-person show, it's designed to act as a digital bridge between editions, providing a continuous point of contact with Busworld’s global network.

Congress and Conferences

Running alongside the exhibition is a two-day (6-7 October) Congress programme that will explore key industry topics, from digital mobility solutions to the future of long-distance coach travel. Speakers from the European Commission, public transport authorities like TfL and major operators like Flixbus and Keolis are confirmed.

Following this, the Zero Emission Bus (ZEB) Conference will take place on the 8th and 9th of October. This event, which requires a separate ticket, will delve into the technology, policy and operational readiness for decarbonisation across Europe.

The People Behind the Passion

As Mieke Glorieux, Busworld Europe’s Managing Director, put it, "It’s not just about the vehicles, the technology or the numbers—it’s about the people. The community we bring together is what defines Busworld. It’s their ideas, partnerships and passion that push the industry—and us—forward."
