IC12E: Intercity Electric Coach
The IC12E extends Yutong’s reach into the premium intercity segment. It is built on the company’s YEA (Yutong Electric Architecture) platform, which was developed specifically for battery-electric vehicles rather than adapted from an existing diesel chassis.
At 12.66 metres long, 2.55 metres wide and 3.5 metres high, the IC12E seats up to 61 passengers and provides 4.5 cubic metres of luggage space. Power is supplied by a 465.99 kWh battery, offering a maximum range of 675 kilometres under SORT 2 (Standardised On-Road Test Cycle) conditions. Lightweight construction and efficient energy management systems help achieve this figure, though the driver’s right foot will still have some influence on the result.
T14E: Premium Electric Coach

The T14E joins Yutong’s T Series of touring coaches, which are available in both battery-electric and diesel versions from 12 to 15 metres in length. Since its European debut in 2023, more than 400 T Series vehicles have entered service across Norway, the UK, Italy, Denmark and elsewhere.
The T14E measures 13.97 metres long, 2.55 metres wide and 3.9 metres high. It can seat up to 59 passengers and provides 8 cubic metres of luggage space. Two battery capacities are available, 621.33 kWh and 704.17 kWh, with the larger option offering a range of up to 850 kilometres under SORT 3 testing. Lightweight materials and efficient power systems help reduce energy use, allowing operators to focus on passenger comfort rather than charging schedules.
U15: Premium City Bus
The U15 is the newest member of Yutong’s U Series, which since its launch in 2022 has become one of the company’s best-known electric bus families. The range spans lengths from 10 to 18 metres, with both single and double-deck formats.
At 14.95 metres long, 2.55 metres wide and 3.39 metres high, the U15 can carry up to 90 passengers, including 57 seated. Its 662.75 kWh battery delivers a range of up to 850 kilometres under SORT 2 conditions. As with other Yutong models, the focus is on reducing weight and maximising energy efficiency, helping operators to extend range and lower overall running costs.
U11DD: Refreshed Double Decker

First launched in 2022, the U11DD is already well established in Yutong’s European line-up. However, what's most notable is the updated styling which was been worked on in collaboration with Yutong, operators and its distributors like Pelican Bus + Coach. It measures 10.88 metres long, 2.55 metres wide and 4.35 metres high. The upper deck seats 42 passengers, while the lower deck has space for 20, giving a total capacity of 87.
Battery capacity starts at 467.38 kWh, with an optional 556.41 kWh pack for longer routes. Under ULEB (Ultra-Low Emission Bus) testing, the model achieves more than 625 kilometres on a single charge. Its aluminium body reduces weight and improves corrosion resistance, which will be appreciated by operators working in salt-heavy winter conditions.
Long-life technology and lifecycle support
Building on the YEA platform introduced at Busworld Europe 2023, Yutong has now rolled out its EV Long-life Tech package. Designed to achieve vehicle-battery lifespan parity, it targets a 1.5 million kilometre or 15-year service life. The system includes a direct-drive flat-wire motor, a seven-in-one controller, and Yutong’s proprietary battery safety and thermal management systems.
Supporting these technical advances is the EnRoute+ service platform, which integrates intelligent connectivity, predictive maintenance and parts support through Yutong’s European distribution hubs. The scheme is underpinned by eight service promises, including 24/7 support, a 15-year genuine parts guarantee and transparent pricing.
Taken together, the new and existing models reinforce Yutong’s position as a serious player in Europe’s electric bus and coach market. The focus is clearly on lifecycle value, not just vehicle specification – a message likely to resonate with operators balancing zero-emission targets against the realities of depot budgets.
