The new vehicles will be seen across the UK this summer, offering thousands more seats each week on routes between key cities such as London, Leicester, Sheffield, Bristol and Leeds.
Recently, Yutong celebrated its 2,000th Vehicle Registration in the UK , which was part of a delivery of FlixBus-branded vehicles to First Bus.
Richard Crump, Managing Director of Pelican Engineering Group, said:
“It’s fantastic to celebrate the arrival of these vehicles. The rapid growth that FlixBus have achieved in the UK is a testament to the skill and dedication of their management team, and this delivery shows the strength of our partnership and the continued confidence of FlixBus in Yutong vehicles. We’re very proud to play our part in supporting FlixBus’s growing UK network by delivering high-quality coaches that passengers and operators can trust.”
For the UK coach industry, the handover of 20 new GT12s is more than just another fleet expansion, it’s a clear signal that FlixBus is not lifting its foot off the accelerator anytime soon.
With Pelican and Yutong firmly in the driving seat as trusted partners, the express coach operator is doubling down on scale, visibility and passenger experience.
As the green wave rolls into more cities this summer, the message is simple: premium doesn’t have to mean pricey and growth doesn’t have to mean compromise. All eyes now are on the next stop.
