A demonstrator Alexander Dennis Enviro400EV vehicle will be on display at The Royal Albert Dock from Sunday 25th September to Wednesday 28th September 2022, giving the general public the first opportunity to see the distinctive new Metro livery and to learn more about the advantages that the zero-emission hydrogen buses will bring to the area. The BYD ADL partnership will produce 50 Enviro200EVs for First Glasgow's Scotstoun depot. First Aberdeen will receive 24 Yutong E12 models from Pelican Bus and Coach. The latter will be Yutong's first vehicles for First in Scotland. First Bus First has committed £35 million to the production of the 74 zero emission buses and associated infrastructure, with the BYD ADL batch accounting for £19.7 million, and the Yutong deliveries accounting for £8.4 million. Furthermore, £4.8 million will be invested in Scotstoun and £2.1 million in Aberdeen to install rapid charging points. The work is expected to take a year, with the first buses arriving in 2023. When the delivery is completed, 50% of the First Aberdeen fleet will be zero-emission. Greater Manchester residents will benefit when reduced bus tickets go into effect starting from the 4th of September 2022. Mayor Andy Burnham and the leaders of Greater Manchester have advanced the proposal for cheaper, easier tickets by a year in order to address the present cost-of-living crisis. Manchester Airport has added two new 10.8m long British-built Alexander Dennis Enviro200 buses, they are equipped with bespoke luggage racks. The vehicles are outfitted with the award-winning Alexander Dennis SmartPack efficiency technology, which enables the Zemo Partnership to certify them as Low Emission Buses.

Bus travel between Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire is about to get better and brighter thanks to plans unveiled by the rapidly expanding bus company Team Pennine to improve a key bus link. Transdev Team Pennine Currently Team Pennine runs buses on the 587 route between Rochdale, Littleborough, Ripponden and Halifax only on Sundays… however, starting on Monday 25th July 2022, Transdev's Team Pennine will take over all weekday journeys as well. A new timetable will be implemented, with departures every hour from Monday through Saturday and four excursions per way on Sunday.   Customers travelling on the revitalised route for business or pleasure can expect travelling in style as well, as the bus company has promised to introduce nicer, brighter, refurbished low-emission buses onto the 587 route in the near future, sporting Team Pennine's eye-catching pink livery.
